Why just run, when you can run and get pelted with coloured powder?

Claire, one of our superstar Account Execs, is now back to the correct colour after completing The Color Run 5K.

Known as the ‘Happiest 5K on the Planet’, The Color Run is an event organised and misspelt by Dulux, for the Stand up to Cancer cause. The video shows what the event is all about.

Claire ran the Manchester 5K course whilst being showered with coloured powder by the committed Color Team. If runners weren’t quite colourful enough, they were invited to roll around on the floor in the ‘color stations’. Not your average running race.

Claire commented,

“I did the run in 40 minutes, but I could have easily beaten this if I hadn’t stopped for all the photo opportunities! It was a great day and lots of fun, The Color Run team were fab and got powder everywhere possible.  You certainly don’t need to be serious about running – in fact I’d recommend it to anyone who fancies doing something for charity that’s fun”.

Claire’s kit is now white again and so far she has raised nearly three hundred pounds for this great cause via her Color Run ‘Just Giving’ page. Anyway, that’s enough American spellings for one day. There are more Color Run events in coming up, so find our more or book your place.
