Last night we attended The Drum Content Awards, having been named a finalist in the Best B2B Content Marketing Strategy category. Well, the good news is that we won! And our content strategy for Pagid UK, an ongoing marketing campaign, was named the best in the UK for a B2B brand.
Following a champagne reception, amazing food and a little networking, the Content Awards began. When it came to our category, we were up against some stellar competition, with campaigns for the likes of Oracle, Vodafone and Virgin Media. But, ultimately, the judges found our strategy the most compelling.
Memories of the night are a little hazy, but a quote from the judges really stood out:
“Never has such a niche product been so interesting”
This was truly humbling. We knew we had a strong entry. Our content strategy looks at the real interests of garage owners and mechanics (Pagid’s audience) and delivers content to them through multiple channels, telling stories they care about. This strategy has had a real-world sales impact, which is why we thought we had a strong case. But to know it is the content itself that achieved the win, is even more rewarding.
We have a lot to be thankful for, and our biggest thanks must go to our client, Pagid UK, who have embraced the content strategy and allowed us to work with them in creating a compelling experience for their customers that has resulted in both this award, and significant business goals for the brand. The wider Fox Agency team have all had a massive part to play too, we are always extremely appreciative of their hard work!
So, after having our campaign named the best B2B content strategy in the UK by the industry leading publication, we think some celebrations are in order. Champagne, Jeeves! Toodaloo.
