The opportunity

We’re looking for a PR Manager who will be a pivotal team member, responsible for the day-to-day running of accounts and management of junior team members.


  • Ownership and day to day management of client accounts and being the first port of call for clients
  • Allocating tasks within the PR team and ensuring deliverables are met, coverage secured, and KPIs reached for client campaigns and retainers
  • Guiding and managing a number of PR executives with line management an integral part of the role
  • Alerting members of the senior PR team to potential problems with client accounts or team members
  • Identifying opportunities for clients to help boost monthly retainers or secured extra project fees
  • Playing an increasing role in new business pitches and presentations
  • Continuing to build relationships with the media
  • Briefing PR Executives on press releases, comments and quotes, points of view, and op-ed by-lines that are written by the supporting team, and proofreading them before they are sent to clients
  • Liaising with client services to ensure strong communication with clients and internal departments
  • Preparing award submissions for Fox Agency and clients, with guidance from the PR Directors and input from the wider team as needed

As well as job specific responsibilities, all members of PR Team at Fox Agency are required to:

  • Attend and participate in weekly Monday morning meetings
  • Attend Foxbridge training sessions and complete the Fox Agency PR Academy course
  • Be able to use PR specific tools with expert knowledge and confidence, including Roxhill Media, ResponseSource, Agility, and BusinessWire
  • Attend award ceremonies, conferences and events as required and offering feedback to the wider agency afterwards
  • Be part of the fabric of Fox Agency and help to nature a welcoming, support community
  • Join Fox Agency ‘smart teams’ as needed

We’re looking for

  • At least four years’ PR agency experience in B2B and/or tech
  • An understanding of the B2B tech media landscape
  • A confident self-starter possessing outstanding communication skills
  • A positive ‘can-do’ attitude
  • A determination to deliver work to the highest standards
  • Creative flair and the ability to produce engaging PR and related content
  • A genuine passion for all things tech, including B2B tech
  • An understanding of how it can deliver against client objectives
  • Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise workload efficiently
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • An appreciation of wider integrated marketing communications services and tactics and the confidence to suggest these where appropriate
