Redefining global language learning for the 21st century

The background story

Berlitz is the world’s largest (and oldest) B2B language learning provider, celebrating its 140th anniversary in 2018. Operating from over 550 locations across 70 different countries, its instructors help business people learn a language using the proven ‘Berlitz method’.

After a competitive pitch involving agencies from the US, Europe and South America, Fox was appointed to reinforce and reposition the Berlitz brand – including relaunching the market-leading online learning platform, Berlitz Virtual Learning Centre – to support sales activity in key global markets. The aim was to create a platform for Berlitz communications throughout 2018, based on the 140th anniversary.

What did Fox do?

Fox ‘redefined’ the messaging and creative approach for Berlitz’ online learning proposition – The Berlitz Virtual Learning Centre. We also helped to redefine the way Berlitz communicated its unique, fully-immersive way of teaching languages, The Berlitz Method.

We created a suite of brand communications and collateral, sales support and content strategy to equip their sales teams with the tools and resources required to convey a more engaging story to global customers.

What happened?

Our ‘redefined’ messaging has provided a platform for success in 2018 and beyond. It fully supports Berlitz’ efforts to celebrate the 140th anniversary and puts them in a strong position as they embark on the next stage of their story.
