Meet our North American Head of Paid Search – Romario Martin.
Things are really hotting up for our US team, with three new hires expanding our abilities and offering even more to our clients. One of those hires was our new North American Head of Paid Search, Romario Martin. He sat down with us to talk about what excites him about his role, what attracted him to join Fox Agency, and what skills he’ll be bringing to the table. Over to you, Romario…
Tell us about your career before you joined Fox Agency.
Before joining Fox Agency, I served as the US Paid Search Director at Kingpin Communications (now The Marketing Practice), where I worked with B2B tech clients, honing my skills in strategic planning and execution of paid search campaigns. Prior to that, I was a Paid Advertising Specialist at Foleon, where I developed, executed, and monitored paid advertising campaigns for the United States and Canadian markets. These roles allowed me to blend creativity with analytics, driving impactful results for a diverse range of clients.
What excited you about the role with Fox Agency?
The role with Fox Agency excited me because it presented an opportunity to expand and lead the U.S. paid search team. I was particularly drawn to the chance to drive scalable growth and ROI for clients through innovative, data-driven global paid search strategies. The dynamic and collaborative environment at Fox Agency, combined with its commitment to staying ahead in the fast-paced digital marketing landscape, made it an ideal place for me to further my career.
What does your new role as Head of Paid Search for North America involve?
As the Head of Paid Search for North America, my role involves leading and expanding the U.S. paid search team, developing and implementing effective paid search strategies, and driving scalable growth and ROI for our clients. I focus on leveraging data-driven insights to inform decision-making and optimize campaign performance. Additionally, I collaborate closely with our amazing digital team to ensure our strategies are aligned with our clients’ business goals and objectives.
What do you hope to bring to the Fox Agency US team?
I hope to bring a unique blend of analytical expertise, creative problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of B2B paid advertising to the Fox Agency US team. My goal is to develop and execute highly effective marketing strategies tailored to our clients’ needs, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. I also aim to mentor and inspire the next generation of digital marketers within the team, helping them achieve their full potential.
What has been your biggest professional achievement to date?
My biggest professional achievement to date has been successfully leading the paid search strategy for several high-profile B2B tech clients. This involved driving significant improvements in ROI and campaign performance through innovative and data-driven approaches. Seeing the tangible impact of my strategies on my clients’ business growth has been incredibly rewarding.
Finally, tell us something interesting or unique about yourself?
Something interesting about me is my passion for collecting shoes and investing in stocks. The feeling of acquiring a pair of shoes I’ve desired since childhood makes collecting sneakers special and nostalgic, and it’s also a hobby that allows me to express my personality and style. On the investment side, I enjoy analyzing market trends and the intellectual challenge it provides.
Additionally, I have a one-year-old son, which has been an incredibly fulfilling and amazing experience. Watching him grow and discover the world brings a new level of joy and perspective to my life. Balancing my professional ambitions with the joys of fatherhood has been a rewarding journey, and it continuously motivates me to strive for success in all areas of my life.
