What they had to say was so good, we decided it was worth sharing with the world. So, with that in mind, we have launched our very own podcast; ClientSide with Fox Agency.
Why start a B2B marketing podcast?
Here at Fox, we love a good podcast, listening and loving everything from The Property Podcast to Agency Dealmasters. As our very own Content Strategist Sam Brewin predicted earlier this year in our 2020 marketing trend predictions blog, everyone and your mum loves a podcast – and there’s a good reason why. Podcasts are quickly are becoming the go-to method for super accessible, relevant and engaging content.
Podcasts are perfect for both personal and professional interests, providing top notch, hands-free entertainment. That’s why In 2019, Ofcom reported that a crazy 7.1 million people in the UK listen to podcasts each week, and this number growing fast. For 2020, Deloitte has precited a market growth surge of 30%, meaning the podcasting industry is only going to get bigger and better, with the potential to become even more exciting and inspiring.
Thankfully, we want to make this happen sooner rather than later. At Fox, we deliver greatness – challenging the normal and embracing the new. We create high quality, kick ass content for our clients, and we’re not stopping there.

What’s ClientSide all about?
Once we’d combed our contacts and identified some great names in the B2B world to interview, ClientSide launched in January across:
The ClientSide with Fox Agency podcast brings you illuminating interviews with leading figures in the B2B space. Our interviewees are frank and honest, sharing their real-life experiences and insight from the client side of B2B marketing, their inside stories and secrets on how to work with agencies.
ClientSide also covers business successes and horror stories, how to hire and fire agencies, how to extract the maximum potential from client-agency relationships, and the inside scoop on how to come out on top in a pitch.
Who will you hear from?
The interviews are all hosted by professional podcaster Nathan Anibaba, who has a storied history interviewing successful businesspeople from around the globe.
Three episodes are already live, featuring great and global marketing directors and leaders. Guests have included Marco Costa, former Global Marketing Director of Berlitz – the world’s largest language learning provider. In Episode 2 he shares his fascinating insights from the world of B2B marketing in over 70 global markets and his fascinating career journey from Brazil, to the US, Paris, Barcelona, and back to South America.
Other guests include Julia Doheny, North America President at B2B International, the world’s largest B2B market research firm. In Episode 3 she shares the story of how she progressed from a Research Executive role to leading the entire US operation in less than 15 years; along with her opinions on market research data and the lack of creativity in the realm of B2B.
And in the first episode, Jane Nugent shares her experiences as Marketing Director at tool and equipment hire company, Speedy Hire: a business with over £400 million in turnover. She talks about challenging convention and reshaping conventional marketing methods in an age of digital transformation.
