With a clutch of new recruits, some mouth-watering new business and a huge rise in revenues over the previous 12 months, it’s been a heck of a ride for Fox Agency. As we shift gears and take the plunge into 2023, let’s fuel up on the biggest wins of last year.
Fox Agency in 2022 – by the numbers:
- £5.5 million – our recorded revenue for the year, up 35% on the previous year.
- 24 – the number of new bods we’ve added across our teams in the last 12 months.
- 20% – that’s the resulting increase in headcount.
- 12 – the number of global B2B technology accounts we won.
- 10 – the number of internal promotions awarded to some fast-rising stars.
- 4 – mentions in The B2B Marketing UK Agencies Benchmarking Report 2022 .
- 142,340 – miles we travelled to industry events around the world in 2022.
We dove right into 2023 with plenty for our highly in-demand service teams to get stuck into, having secured a highly distinguished dozen world-leading B2B tech companies in recent months.
With the likes of Arcwide, Delphi Technologies, intelliflo, GKN PM, Rendezverse and Syrenis joining the ranks, we’re looking forward to exploring even more diverse avenues of the tech world to bring brands and customers together.
We need a bit more space to stretch our legs, now that our numbers are steadily growing – and London is the perfect place for it. Our new digs in Devonshire Square are just around the corner from Liverpool Street station and five minutes’ walk from Aldgate. It’s also a mere 208 miles / four-hour drive from our brand new office in Leeds City Centre.
Our new place in, er, Wellington Place has got the lot – full-height windows, lots of carpet to pace up and down on, and lovely views of bustling Leeds. This fantastic spot is just five minutes from the train station too, perfect for welcoming clients.
Fox Agency’s reach extends even further, of course – with team members working remotely from all over the UK and across the globe, including in Italy, Dubai, and Thailand. Thanks to our focus on flexible working, geography isn’t a barrier when it comes to producing great work and tremendous results for our clients.
We don’t just get our bright ideas in the office – we go far and wide to draw inspiration at the world’s leading industry shows. Here’s where we ventured to in ’22.
We’d barely got the Christmas decs down before sending a crack team to Las Vegas for the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), and three days of glitz, glamour and gargantuan hotels and casinos.
Barcelona beckoned next for another travelling trio, as Mobile World Congress (MWC) provided much to mull over with its ‘Connectivity Unleashed’ theme and lots of discussion around the potential for 5G.
March saw a trip to Texas, where everything is bigger – including the hype around the metaverse. South by Southwest (SXSW) is one of the States’ largest festivals covering the arts and tech, and we were blown away by the possibilities around commercial space flight, the metaverse and more.
We also sent intrepid experts to soak up the sights at Dublin Tech Summit and Collision in Canada – not to mention the small matter of ‘unleashing’ a new venture.
A team travelled to sunny Miami on behalf of Arcwide, the new joint venture combining cloud-based innovation and world-class consultancy. So, when it came time to announce the arrival of Arcwide on the world stage, where better to do it than the IFS Unleashed event?
Cue a campaign of geo-targeted adverts, branding placements at the event, and more swag than you can fill a branded tote bag with (we did try!) – plus a series of expert presentations from key Arcwide figures.
Miami was buzzing about the brand by the end of our trip, and the partnership opportunities quickly followed – another Stateside success. Our travel schedule for 2022 was pretty intense, and 2023 looks to be more of the same.
In the words of a famous evil genius mouse from the 90s cartoon – “the same thing we do every day, try to take over the world!”
Starting with mainland Europe and US, where we’ve already made our mark, we’ll look to further our reach into these markets with new partnerships, new opportunities and plenty of travel to keep the Fox brand out there at the best events.
We’re well on our way to achieve our five-year goal of £15m by 2025 and £20m by 2027. So, we’ll carry on doing what we do best – driving growth for ambitious scale-ups and enterprises across global B2B tech markets.
