Five minutes with Ben Marshall
Meet our North American Creative Director – Ben Marshall.
Meet Ben Marshall, our North American Creative Director. Ben has spent his career blending storytelling, design, and strategy for B2B companies, and he’s not done raising the bar.
Tell us about your career before you joined Fox Agency
I’ve spent my entire career building creative strategies and brand experiences specifically for B2B companies – blending storytelling, design, and strategy to help brands connect more meaningfully with their audiences.
My focus has always been on closing the gap between powerful, human-centered creative and measurable business outcomes – helping brands grow, evolve, and better connect with the people they serve.
Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of working with some incredible teams and inspiring leaders, each one shaping the way I think about creative, design, business, and the real impact we can make when everything is working together.
What excited you about the role with Fox Agency?
Fox Agency has an energy and ambition that’s hard to ignore. The chance to help shape and grow the creative presence in the US, alongside such a talented, driven team, was something I knew I wanted to be part of.
What really stood out was the belief that sharp strategy, bold creative, and measurable results aren’t at odds – they fuel each other. That mindset, combined with a truly integrated approach, creates the kind of environment where great work happens.
B2B is a team sport, and at Fox Agency, you feel that. Whether it’s how the internal teams collaborate or how we partner with clients to help them grow, not just in brand impact, but in their own roles, it’s a place where creativity drives real progress.
What does your role as Creative Director involve?
At its core, my role is about championing bold, insight-driven ideas and making sure everything we create is both strategically sharp and creatively powerful.
I collaborate closely with teams across strategy, media, technology, and client services to turn deep insight into big ideas – and those big ideas into work that moves people, builds connection, and drives results. At the end of the day, it’s about helping brands show up in ways that are impossible to ignore.
What do you hope to bring to the Fox Agency creative and US teams?
I aim to bring a fresh perspective, a strategic mindset, and a real passion for creative excellence.
I love the challenge of digging into complex businesses, products, and audiences and finding the most courageous, compelling way to tell their story.
More than anything, I want to help foster a culture that’s collaborative, curious, and always pushing to raise the bar. The goal isn’t just to make work that stands out – it’s to make work that’s truly meaningful to the people it’s built for.
What has been your biggest professional achievement to date?
Honestly, it’s not one project or moment, it’s the throughline of helping clients achieve real, meaningful wins through the work we’ve created together.
Along the way, I’ve had the chance to build lasting relationships with some incredibly smart, passionate people. Those partnerships, rooted in trust, shared values, and a drive to make great work, are what I’m most proud of. So if I had to name one achievement, it’s the people. That’s been the most rewarding part of my career so far.
Finally, tell us something interesting or unique about yourself?
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me on a hiking trail, trying to keep up with my wife in a workout class, or knee-deep in a home project I’m almost definitely unqualified for – but figuring it out one YouTube tutorial at a time.
