Meet Jillian Prete, our new North American Account Director. Jillian breaks her role down into three key aspects – part relationship-builder, part problem-solver, and part strategist. Learn more about this winning combination, her love for strategic storytelling and her path to Fox Agency in our 5-minute conversation. Over to you, Jillian.
Congratulations on your new role at Fox Agency! Please tell us about your career journey so far?
Thank you! I got my start at a B2C agency just outside of Washington, D.C., where I helped bring brands to life through web, video, and content experiences. It was a fast-paced environment that sparked my love for creative problem-solving. I had the opportunity to work alongside incredible people and mentors who gave me a strong foundation for my marketing career.
When I made the move to Denver, I transitioned into the B2B space and began focusing on demand generation, digital, and content strategy for global brands in tech, cybersecurity, aviation, and manufacturing.
Over the years, I’ve had the chance to lead cross-functional teams, manage global integrated campaigns across paid media, content, and ABM, and build strong client relationships grounded in transparency and performance. Every step has only deepened my love for strategic storytelling and marketing that actually moves the needle.
What excited you about the role with Fox Agency?
Fox Agency stood out right away – smart, strategic work and a team that clearly cares and enjoys the process. I loved that the agency isn’t afraid to challenge the status quo, and that they’re growing with intention. It felt like a place where I could make an impact, stretch my thinking, and be part of something exciting as it evolves.
What does your new role as Account Director involve?
My role is really about being the bridge between our clients and our internal teams, making sure we’re not just delivering great work, but solving the right problems. I’ll help shape the strategy, keep projects moving, and ensure everything ladders up to our clients’ bigger business goals.
It’s part relationship-builder, part problem-solver, and part strategist. I’m there to bring clarity, connect the dots, and make sure we’re always adding value, whether that’s through smarter media plans, sharper messaging, or just keeping everyone aligned and energized.
What are you most looking forward to about working with the Fox Agency team?
There’s a contagious energy here – ambitious, collaborative, and just really smart people. I’m excited to roll up my sleeves and help build something special in the North American market while learning from the broader global team’s expertise. The chance to grow together and help shape what Fox Agency looks like in North America is very exciting and motivating.
What has been your biggest professional achievement to date?
One of my proudest moments was being part of the team that developed a global campaign and media strategy for a major aviation client undergoing a marketing transformation. We built a fully integrated, insight-driven program that not only exceeded KPIs but won multiple awards. Helping lead that effort from start to finish, and seeing it shift internal conversations, build trust, and evolve into a long-term partnership, was incredibly rewarding.
Finally, tell us something interesting or unique about yourself?
I recently became a certified personal trainer. I’m really passionate about women’s health and fitness, and one day I’d love to open a boutique studio that blends movement, nutrition and community. It’s a total dream project!
