The background story
Since 1908, and their beginnings as a sewing machine company, in Nagoya, Japan, Brother Group has been on a mission to develop technology for changing customer needs – taking in typewriters, fax machines, printers, scanners (and karaoke) along the way. In 2014, they were looking for an agency to bring new thinking to a b2b customer insight project. Enter Fox Agency.
What did Fox Agency do?
Tech is fast moving, which means speed is important. And innovation even more so. This is the essence of our work with Brother; ideas and action. Working with marketing, comms and insight teams, we develop strategies, activity and content for internal programs, corporate PR and CSR, awareness campaigns, demand generation, and channel and category activation. We implement across digital, and integrate with offline tactics and customer marketing, with messaging and creative assets that are ready-to-run across more than 30 European markets.

That’s the Brother philosophy. And it’s one we emulate in our work with them. We have successfully delivered activity for a rapidly-evolving range of tech categories. Examples include: Pan-European campaigns for P-Touch and QL labelling devices; ‘Customisation by Brother’ personas and customer journeys in the SMB print market; proposition development and interactive presentations for scanning and colour printing technologies; brand history video; managed print services; and strategies for mobile and connected printing.
