At Fox Agency, we all share a vision: to create opportunity for technology, people and the planet to thrive today and beyond.
It sounds grand, doesn’t it? But we’re taking very meaningful steps to make that vision a reality. We’re already rated bronze in the EcoVadis sustainability ratings, but we know we need to go even further – the world demands it, our clients expect it, and our team all believe in it.
How we’re moving towards a more sustainable future
There are four main areas we’re looking to improve on across the agency, all of which will make our work more purposeful.
We’re updating our recycle/reuse policies
In the past there’d be a lot of waste in agency land. Printing out briefs, screwing up ditched concepts, every new starter getting brand new tech. The list goes on. But our recycle/reuse policies explore ways we can use less while still achieving fantastic results. It allows us to create less waste, which is something nature will be very grateful for.
We’re increasing our education and engagement
Making a difference starts with knowing why you need to. We run regular learning sessions where our team can understand the impact we have on the world around us, as well as what they can do to help. We also give them the opportunity to volunteer with projects that mean something to them, all on paid time. Keep your eyes peeled because we’ll be shouting loud and proud about what everyone gets up to.
We’re making more sustainable decisions
Sustainability and the environment have been added to our overall mission as an agency, meaning everything we do – from big campaigns to this very blog post – has to be done with them in mind. It’s not just a nice to have, it’s essential. We’re also investing in further training for our team on how to make better decisions, reporting more on our social impact, and partnering with ethical banks to make sure everything we do, does something good.
We’re allocating budget to verified carbon-offset projects
Local charities and organisations with ethical goals will all be seeing more of us over the next 12 months, as we give more of our time and money to helping them out. Whether that’s by getting bodies on the ground or by working with them pro-bono on their strategies and marketing efforts, we’ll be doing a lot more to make a mark.
