The challenge
Plumm is a workplace mental wellbeing platform that provides a raft of mental health services and support to employees. Having recently rebranded, the aim was to build awareness and establish positioning for the solution; engaging HR leaders and educating the broader business leadership about the benefits of prioritising employee mental health. Above all, however, it was about creating a platform for growth.
With ambitious growth plans and an imminent investment round, Plumm required a global B2B tech PR agency partner; one that had the capabilities, contacts, and connections to ensure the brand hit the ground running.

Our solutions
In the wake of the pandemic, mental health remained a prominent topic on the media agenda. With the Great Resignation taking hold, businesses were contemplating the workplace of the future. Not only that, there was a move to ensure connectedness and wellbeing in an increasingly remote workforce.
We quickly established ourselves as the go-to for media writing about workplace wellbeing. And we led the conversation over the course of Mental Health Awareness Week, leveraging our relationships to place expert commentary in the likes of the i paper, Metro, Stylist, and the BBC Asian Network. In addition, Plumm secured coverage in key HR and business titles including Raconteur and UKTN.
Plumm also remained ahead of the curve when it came to identifying new trends and movements in the workplace wellbeing space. As such, we were able to comment on topics such as “employee whiplash”; a phenomenon driven by a return to office-based working. Similarly, Plumm offered expert advice on the subject of “wellbeing debt” being fuelled by a negative news cycle and employee burnout.
The outcomes
Over a seven-month period, we increased Plumm’s share of voice from 3% to 23%; generating 67 pieces of coverage around the importance of prioritising wellbeing for retention and productivity of staff. This was achieved through a creative and agile press office function. We also built a platform for growth into new geographic and vertical markets; creating a groundswell of media, industry, and investor interest ahead of the all-important investment rounds to come.
